Our #blkcreatives Twitter chats are opportunities for Creatives to gather together on Twitter to discuss and exchange ideas, information, and inspiration that birth strategic collaborations.

The first one of 2020 highlights MTV’s True Life Crime Show and the premiere episode on the investigation of the death of Kenneka Jenkins in Chicago.

#TrueLifeCrime’s host Dometi Pongo joins us alongside three other Black Chicago journalists as we unpack what the journalist’s responsibility is to the culture, especially when tragedies like the death of Kenneka Jenkins, happen.

The chat will happen on Wednesday, January 8 at 7c/8p followed by the show airing simultaneously on MTV and VH1 at 8c/9p.

Catch this coverage from Chicago’s WGN News.
