Everybody Eats is the next great board book for the kids in your world! It’s a bold, colorful, simple board book that also doubles as an introduction to hip hop’s culinary lyrics to the little ones in our lives.

“We believe ‘Everybody Eats.’ This phrase represents the idea that through collective work and service, everyone is fed and taken care of. There is room for everybody at the table,” shares creator Syreeta Gates who is also a Hip-Hop archivist and believes in the power of preserving our culture.

“Not only is that a core tenet of our brand with Yo Stay Hungry, but also something we hope to pass on to future generations.”

Everybody Eats is a colorfully simple board book, and an introduction to hip hop’s culinary lyrics.

From Notorious BIG to Cardi B, parents and caregivers will enjoy rapping some of their favorite lyrics to their little ones as they explore their autonomy through their food experience. With a reading age of Baby – 4 years and 32 pages of boldness and color, this book is an extension of the six year running Yo Stay Hungry hip hop culinary competition. Everybody Eats encourages families and communities to re-imagine the ways we can continue to push the culture forward.
