Job Description

SUMMARY

Under the leadership of the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the Director of Communications will oversee the strategic vision and long-term success of the organizations communications work. This work will include leading a team of communicators and collaborating with marketers to maximize successful communications strategies that speak to patients, clients, donors, corporate supporters, activists and organizers, and community leaders in order to fulfill our organizational mission, vision, values, and business and fundraising goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in communications, journalism, marketing or other related field
  • 5 years of experience in communications, marketing or other related work
  • 3 years of management/supervisory experience
