July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month but we should be intentional about our mental health, all year long. Our ‘Stay Sane Tips’ each month will prompt you to keep your mind, top of mind. Enjoy, share with someone you love, and be great.

Boundaries are not just crucial when building and creating the life you want, they are necessary. If you say yes to everything, how will you have any space to receive what’s specifically for you? Creating boundaries also leaves room for you to step up your personal productivity.
You can’t always be on. In the spirit of Bernie Mac, take a break.
Our theme for the month is The Mental Health of Black Children. So this month, be intentional about helping out a child – whether it’s doing something new for your own, a friend’s, an organization that works with kids, checking-in with the kids in your family or in your building – it will make the things you’re dealing with seem a little bit lighter. It’s a guaranteed win-win.
Apply this tip to everything that you approach – school, work, life, relationships, problems, ounces, building, creating, you name it – it’s a great way to give yourself some grace.
